Group Therapy - Book Club

Service Description

Welcome to the group therapy book club. This is an affordable alternative to one on one counselling or closed group counselling. The books we read are highly informative and often crucial reading for anyone healing from CPTSD. It can be very exciting to learn and relate to what is written in the books yet also simultaneously overwhelming. My goal is to allow people to ask more detailed questions about the content, share their emotions and feelings as they come up whilst reading and receive support processing in a safe space as we read this book together. Prior to joining purchase the book yourself and do the required reading before each session in order to be able to participate. We generally read chapter by chapter (unless some are very short and or long and as a group we can decide together how much to read before the next session). I post updates for our group so you know what the required reading is before each session. You can join in at anytime so long as you catch up on the reading. The cut off to book online before each session is 24 hours, if you miss the deadline you can email me directly and I will be able to manually add you. You can book your spot as many Wednesday sessions into the future as you would like.
